Japanese Language and Culture Journeys
This special event highlighted two of our IEGAP members, Mami Akiyama and Asumi Shibata. The audience was captivated as they spoke in Japanese and shared heartfelt stories through photos—from their childhoods in Japan to their journeys to America. This presentation was both moving and inspiring, offering a glimpse into their personal histories and cultural transitions. We’re deeply grateful to Mami and Asumi for opening up and taking us along on such a meaningful walk down memory lane.
