Cycle of Creativity: Alison Saar and the Toni Morrison Papers

We will explore “Cycle of Creativity: Alison Saar and the Toni Morrison Papers" with a member of the Art Museum's visitor engagement team, followed by a discussion over lunch. Dates: June 9 and June 20 Location: Art@Bainbridge, 158 Nassau St. Registration for this event is closed as it reached the capacity. About the event: "Cycle of Creativity: Alison Saar and the Toni Morrison Papers" brings sculpture, prints and paintings by the mixed-media artist Alison Saar into conversation with the work of Toni Morrison, whose vast trove of papers from her career as a novelist, essayist, playwright, professor and editor are held in the Princeton University Library. Join the Women's Employee Resource Group (WERG) and the International Employees Group at Princeton (IEGAP) to explore the exhibit with a member of the Art Museum's visitor engagement team, followed by a discussion over lunch in the building's second-floor conference room (NOTE: This room is accessible only by stairs). Tiger Trot for Hunger: 5k Run/Walk
Please join the ERGs at the 2023 Annual Tiger Trot for Hunger 5k Run & Walk! This is a great way for us to get some fresh air, connect with campus colleagues, and support a great cause. Proceeds from the 5k go to Arm In Arm, a local non-profit organization that helps Mercer County citizens in need of food, housing, and joint support. There are many ways to get involved: Register your interest in participating in the walk as part of our ERG team via the ERG interest form by Friday, November 10th. This information will help us determine the size of our team and order t-shirts for participants. For those able to participate, please register via Campus Rec here and list your ERG affiliation in the team section. Please register by November 17th. Note: Donations are a personal expense and will not be covered by ERG budget. There are two options to participate On-Campus on Friday, 11/17 at 3 pm or you can participate in the virtual run/walk anywhere with the RaceJoy App. Please visit the Tiger Trot page for more details. Volunteer to work at our ERG start line/finish line information booth! We will be talking with race participants, answering questions, signing up new members, and handing out materials and giving away swag. Each shift is approximately 1 hour. You can indicate your interest and availability on the ERG interest form. If you have a conflict, please encourage others to register or donate a non-perishable food item to Arm In Arm. Monetary or non-perishable food donations are accepted in lieu of an event entry fee and are not required for participation. In-Person Main Event Participants Please bring your non-perishable food item(s) and/or monetary donation (used to purchase fresh fruit/vegetables) to Dillon Gym on Thursday, 11/16/23 from 10am - 2pm. Virtual Participants Click the "Donate Here" button during registration if you would like to make a monetary donation. Select your custom donation amount, and complete the payment information as a part of the event registration process. This donation is collected through runsignup.com and then will be transferred to Arm In Arm.
