  • Tiger Trot for Hunger – 5K Run & Walk

    The 17th Annual Tiger Trot for Hunger 5k Run & Walk  is free, and both non-perishable food donations and monetary donations are welcome. Monetary donations can be made online during registration and food donations can be brought to bib pickup the day prior to the race. There will be a table in the Class of ‘86 Fitness and Wellness Center Lobby on Thursday, Nov. 21, for folks to drop off donations and pick up their race bibs. You can also drop off on Friday at Dillon Gym. Use this link to sign up for Employee Resource Groups (Collective) as the team and indicate your specific ERG in the Faculty/Staff ERG affiliation section. These instructions apply to those participating on Campus and via the RaceJoy app.

  • Movie discussion in person

    IEGAP, DAP and Parents & Caregivers ERGs invite you to join us for a lunch discussion of the movie The Son (trailer), on Thursday, March 20th at noon in Carl Fields Center. Mental health challenges can affect anyone regardless of country of origin, race, gender, socioeconomic status, age, etc. The Son is about a workaholic father who attempts to reunite with his son, who is dealing with depression. Calvin R. Chin, Ph.D. ,Director of Counseling and Psychological Services, will open the discussion about mental health challenges. Please watch the movie ahead of the discussion. It is available on streaming platforms including Hulu, Disney+; it is for rent on Prime Video, AppleTV, YouTube, GooglePlay and Fandango. Register here by Friday, March 14. Lunch will be provided.     We look forward to seeing you at our next event, "Japanese Language and Culture Journeys" scheduled for Thursday, October 23rd at 12-1pm in the Carl A. Fields Center, Room #105/106. This event will celebrate our members and give us the opportunity to gather to listen with all our senses and make connections across our many languages and cultures.
